Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 25, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information Trampler Vault ("we," "us") collects when you use the Site, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Trampler Vault is a fan-made companion site for SAND: Raiders of Sophie and is not affiliated with the game's developer or publisher; this Policy covers only Trampler Vault itself.

2. Data Controller

Trampler Vault is a fan-made community project operated independently by its administrator. The administrator acts as the data controller for the personal information described in this Privacy Policy. Contact details are provided in Section 12 below.

3. Age Requirement

The Site is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under 18 years old. You must be at least 18 to create an account. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from someone under 18, we will delete it.

4. Information We Collect

  • Account information: the name and email address you provide when you register, and your password (stored hashed — we never see or store it in plain text).
  • Content you submit: uploaded builds, including .wbt files, titles, descriptions, tags, and any screenshots or images, along with the structured stats you enter for them.
  • Usage and security data: timestamps of account and build activity (for example, edits or visibility changes), and information needed to keep the Site secure, such as rate-limiting data tied to your IP address during login attempts.
  • Cookies: a session cookie that keeps you logged in, and, if you choose "Remember me," a longer-lived cookie so you don't have to log in again on that device.

5. How We Use Information

  • To create and secure your account, and to verify your email address before allowing you to log in.
  • To display your uploaded builds to other users, including your name as the uploader and a download/rating count.
  • To send account-related emails, such as email verification and password reset links.
  • To maintain an internal activity log of changes made to builds, used for moderation and troubleshooting.
  • To detect and prevent abuse, such as automated login attempts.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

6. Legal Basis for Processing

If you are located in the European Union or another jurisdiction with similar data protection laws, we process your personal information on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract: processing your account and build information is necessary to provide the Site's core features to you, such as creating your account and publishing your uploaded builds.
  • Legitimate interests: we process usage and security data (such as rate-limiting data during login attempts and our internal activity log) because it is necessary for our legitimate interest in keeping the Site secure and preventing abuse, and this interest is not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent: where we ask for your consent for a specific purpose, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation: where we are required to process or retain information to comply with the law.

7. Third-Party Services

The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts and Bunny Fonts. Loading a page causes your browser to request those fonts directly from Google's and Bunny's servers, which will receive your IP address and browser information as part of that request, subject to their own privacy policies. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account exists. If you delete a build, it is removed from public browsing; we may retain a record of the deletion in our internal activity log. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within a reasonable time, except where we are required to retain it to comply with a legal obligation or resolve a dispute.

9. Your Rights

If you are located in the European Union (including Bulgaria) or another jurisdiction with similar data protection laws, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correct inaccurate information (you can update your name, email, and password directly from your Profile page);
  • Request deletion of your account and associated personal information;
  • Object to or request restriction of certain processing; and
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

10. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including password hashing and access controls. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

12. Contact

Questions about this Privacy Policy, or requests to access, correct, or delete your information, can be sent to xxx@xxx.com.
